ACHIEVEMENTS OF MODESTY HOUSE

 

• SPECTRUM  ANNUAL EVENT 2022-23 (14th December 2022-23)

• Modesty House bagged FIRST Position in SPECTRUM 2022-23, consecutively for the second time.  (2019-20). 

• The house bagged the FIRST position in SPECTRUM earlier in 2019-20 also.

• It is an array of activities for the holistic development of the students. 

• The following were the activities:

1. Solo Song (JHANKAR)

2. Speech on Achievers (EMPOWERED MINDS)

3. Stand up Comedy (LAUGH OUT ALOUD)

4. Group Dance (DANCING DIVAS)

5. Advertisement ( AD ALOUD)

Modesty House bagged Overall House Trophy for the tireless & continuous efforts towards accomplishment of the desired goals, initiatives taken to sensitize the students towards our nation’s integrity and unity in diversity and inculcate the feeling of patriotism.  

The new initiatives undertaken by the house related to the project to sensitize towards STOP NEGLECTING various environmental issues and START CONNECTING AND PROTECTING them like save water, save energy etc by different wings.

PERSONAL TIMELINES & GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS (CAMBRIDGE)

           

The students created a personal timeline to show formal education and extracurricular learning achieve

Graphic organisers were also made to show the benefits of education to the students, their country and the world.

VOCAL FOR LOCAL (VII-IX)

To create awareness among students about the importance of buying Indian products and services to support the local economy and to promote and encourage the use of  local products of India (Indian textiles) students of  classes 7 to 9 made pen stands and coasters using an Indian fabric.

MATHS CROSSWORD (X-XII)

A Mathematical Crossword Puzzle was conducted house wise during the zero period in classes X-XII. 

The main aim was to make the minds of the students working by solving the general mathematical questions.

The theme of the board was related to the project allotted : 

"PEOPLE''

        with the aim to  ensure dignified life            and equality.

THEME : PEOPLE

We are determined to end poverty and hunger in all forms and ensure dignity and equality.

 

The theme allotted to MODESTY HOUSE is ‘PEOPLE’: We are determined to end poverty and hunger in all forms and ensure dignity and equality.

 

The students highlighted the house theme on the house boards :

• to create awareness about the topic
• to motivate the students to work towards achieving the SDG
• to encourage collaborative team work

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2022

Investiture Ceremony for the senior wing was conducted on 19th April 2022. Under the leadership of Ms Vandana Suneja Ma'am, Modesty House Incharge and all the Modesty house teachers, the Modesty House Prefects of class XII solemnly pledged to fulfill their duties honestly and sincerely during their tenure.

Modesty House Prefects were handed over the modesty house flag by  hon'ble Principal Ma'am, Ms Seema Agarwal and they took their oath of dedicated duties towards the school.

SPECTRUM 2022

 

DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL, PITAMPURA organised SPECTRUM 2022, an inter-house fest for class XI on 14th Dec 2022. It consisted of a plethora of events like - Ad Aloud (Advertisement), Empowered Mind (Speech), Jhankar (Solo song singing), Laugh out Loud (stand up comedy) and Dancing Divas (Group dance). The students showcased their talent and gave mesmerizing performances. 

The students of Modesty House displayed an ebullient exhibition of talent, skill and enthusiasm. Modesty house secured FIRST position in Ad Aloud, Empowered Mind and Laugh out Loud. Overall trophy was also bagged by Modesty House.
