Cyber Safety Week

As part of Cyber Safety Week, Modesty House organized a series of engaging and innovative activities for the Cambridge Wing students on 24th September 2025. With a focus on making cyber safety both educational and enjoyable, the programme combined creativity with responsibility. The activities were carefully planned to suit different age groups, ensuring that every student could learn the essentials of safe online practices in a fun and memorable way.

For Class I–II, Rhyme/Jingle Reciting was conducted. The youngest learners enthusiastically participated in the activity based on the theme of cyber safety. Through short, rhythmic verses and catchy jingles, the children explored important ideas like safe internet use and mindful screen habits.

Students from Classes III and IV engaged in the creative craft of bookmark making. Each bookmark carried vibrant artwork and catchy slogans that highlighted vital aspects of cyber safety, including the use of strong passwords, staying cautious of strangers online, and maintaining responsible screen time. This fusion of art and awareness allowed young learners to express their understanding visually while reinforcing essential habits for safe online practices.

The middle graders demonstrated their artistic and intellectual flair through an enriching Collage Making Activity on the theme Safe and Smart Online Behaviour. Using a blend of colourful cut-outs, original drawings, and thoughtfully crafted slogans, students depicted concepts such as cyberbullying prevention, secure browsing practices, and respectful digital interactions. The collages reflected their critical thinking and creativity, as they merged images and words to present a clear message of responsible digital citizenship.

The senior students undertook the thought-provoking task of Poster Making on the theme Cyber Safety – My Responsibility. With striking visuals and thought-driven messages, their posters addressed pressing online concerns such as phishing scams, identity theft, cyber fraud, and the significance of maintaining a positive digital footprint. The maturity in their artistic choices and the clarity in their messages reflected a deep awareness of real-world digital threats and the importance of proactive solutions.

The Cyber Safety Week celebrations by Modesty House in the Cambridge Wing emerged as a vibrant confluence of creativity, awareness, and purposeful learning. From the joyful rhymes of the youngest learners to the thought-provoking posters of the senior students, every activity reflected not only enthusiasm but also a deep engagement with the values of digital responsibility. What set this initiative apart was the seamless integration of art and education—transforming lessons on safe online practices into living experiences that students can recall and apply beyond the school environment.
